Credit Card Reader

The ICG magnetic-stripe reader is a device that when connected in conjunction with a telecommunications device can read a credit card magnetic stripe and send the information via DTMF tones to a CTU or communications transceiver. This device can be mounted as a stand alone assembly or can be attached to an ICG handset. Configuration facilities permit configuring the format of the information to be transmitted. Typical applications are to install this device to restrict access via credit card entry for devices that do not have an internal reader. Often they are used in conjunction with fax machines, cordless handsets or data ports.
