Curtiss-Wright Controls Integrated Sensing (CWCIS) presents the latest technology in maintenance recorders: the Solid State Quick Access Recorder (SSQAR). The SSQAR has been specifically designed to meet most actual customer requests:
Provide regulatory recording requirements:
The SSQAR fully complies with ARINC 573/717 standards. It records all flight data parameters that are available to the Flight Data Recorder (FDR). SSQAR also provides up to 8 ARINC 429, 12 discrete signals inputs and a high-speed RS422 input.
Minimize size and weight:
The SSQAR has dimensions (201 x 135 mm x 68 mm), an easy mounting principle such that it may be installed in any orientation. Its weight (less than 1.5Kg/3.3 lb.) makes it one of the lightest Maintenance Recorders available on the market.
Drastically reduce installation cost:
The SSQAR has been designed to simplify its installation and location onboard the aircraft. The SSQAR does not need any additional mounting tray and utilizes a single MIL-C-26482 / 02E 1419 P 50 rear connector instead of ARINC 600 series.
Cost Competitive:
The SSQAR has been designed in such a way as to maintain high reliability and performance levels along with truly competitive cost of ownership.
Fast daily readout and replay of in-flight recorded data:
The SSQAR utilizes a PCMCIA card for Flight Data Parameters storage. Readout of recorded data is simplified at its best and is just a matter of seconds. For more efficient maintenance, flight operations and flight safety programs A powerful Windows© compatible suite of software dedicated to replay and analysis of in-flight recorded data. The data recorded by the SSQAR may however be processed by most existing replay software available on the market.
