Enterprise Electronics Corp
Enterprise Electronics Corporation (EEC), an Alabama corporation, was founded in 1971 by a group of radar engineers specifically for the manufacture of affordable, high quality meteorological radar systems for the world market. The prime focus was to improve public safety and advance the science of weather prediction. As a result of the original founders’ efforts the world’s FIRST commercial Doppler weather radar system was developed in 1981.
Today EEC is recognized as the world leader in the meteorological radar field with annual sales ranging from $15 million to $30 million. Since its inception the company has designed, manufactured, and installed over 800 radar systems throughout the USA, as well as in 85 countries worldwide.
EEC products are dedicated to weather detection and analysis with equipment that includes Doppler meteorological surveillance radar with automatic computer processing systems; a wide range of surface weather systems; high resolution meteorological satellite receiving systems and sophisticated meteorological data analysis and image processing software.
Although primarily a commercial manufacturer, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force and a number of international military users are among EEC’s past and present customers. Through its international marketing network based in Arlington, Virginia, EEC meets the detection and analysis needs of both civil and military meteorological agencies worldwide.
EEC's employees represent a dedicated team of people in the industry and have established high-performance goals to take EEC to the next generation of technology. EEC has received three (3) U.S. patents for Simultaneous Dual Polarization (SIDPOL™) – U.S. Patent Numbers 6,859,163, 6,803,875 and 7,049,997.
Our 53,000 square foot facility is located in Enterprise, Alabama. It features a complete system testing range, including two (2) antenna test towers, and a pedestal test facility.
From Pedestals to Processors, Documentation to Displays, EEC's range of radar systems are the product of years of experience, superior engineering, and a quality control process second to none.
