Night Vision Monocular

The NX-122A is a full MIL-SPEC, multi-purpose, passive, monocular night vision device. The NX-122A can be head or helmet mounted and with an adaptor it can be mounted on the Picatinny rail of small arms.
The NX-122A monocular is designed to allow the individual soldier to perform observation, short range surveillance, weapon aiming when mounted behind a collimated red dot sight, maintenance work, map reading and medical aid operations during all night conditions.
The NX-122A monocular utilizes an 18 mm image intensifier having high photoresponse, high resolution (64 lp/mm minimum), high signal-to-noise ratio, auto-gating power supply and variable gain for optimum performance under dynamic lighting conditions.
In addition to the Automatic Brightness Control (ABC) and Bright Source Protection (BSP) features of the auto-gated power supply of the image intensifier tube, the monocular is equipped with a high light cut-off electronic control that switches off the monocular within 70 seconds in lighting conditions exceeding 4 foot-candles at the photo-detector.
The NX-122A monocular features an IR light source next to the photo-detector that provides illumination when required for close-up viewing or for operation in total darkness. When the IR light source is activated, a red indicator lights at the edge of the field of view.
A full range of accessories, including magnifiers, weapon, head and helmet mounts are offered with the monocular.
