Night Vision Clip On Afocal

The NX-135 is a night vision clip-on afocal sight for mounting on top of Laser Range Finders and optical day sights to provide night vision capability.

The NX-135 features a 150 mm EFL, f# 1.7 objective lens to collect light during the night. Despite the fact that this lens has the largest focal length in this class of instruments, the complete sight is lighter and more compact than competing designs. In addition to providing increased recognition and identification ranges, the selection of a large objective gives a field of view (6.7 degrees) that is a better match to the field of view of most Laser Range Finders and large magnification day sights. The NX-135 also offers the largest output optics; 40 mm to closely match the input apertures of the day optics onto which is attached.

Due to its exact, factory set, 1X magnification, the NX-135 mounts with special mounting brackets on LRFs and day sights without affecting their boresighting settings.
The user continues to operate the day sights as usually. Reticle readings, eye relief distances and shooting/observation practices remain the same as in day time.
The large aperture dichroic filter at the exit of the NX-135 allows the use of the LRFs or day optics during the day without prior removal of the NX-135.

The NX-135 employs an inverting 18 mm, Generation 3, XD-4 or XR-5 image intensifier assembly. Power is provided by two (2) AA size batteries. A variety of mounting brackets is available for different LRFs and optical sights.
