FLIR Systems Announces $5.4 Million Order From U.S. Customs and Border Protection

PORTLAND, OR, Jul 13, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- FLIR Systems, Inc. announced today that it has received a $5.4 million order from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The contract award is for Star SAFIRE(R) HD stabilized multi-sensors. The units delivered under this order will be used to assist the CBP air assets in their performance on missions guarding the borders of the United States.
Work on this order will be performed at FLIR's facilities in Wilsonville, OR and deliveries are expected to be completed by the end of 2010.
